Roasted Garlic Recipe
4 large fresh garlic heads

1/4 cup extra virgin Italian Olive Oil

kosher salt

fresh pepper corns
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Trim any stray roots and excess outer skin from garlic heads. Using a sharp knife, cut off about 1/4 inch from the top of fresh garlic heads to expose the individual cloves of fresh garlic.

Place cut side up in a small baking dish or a small muffin tin works great too.

Drizzle extra virgin Italian olive oil over the tops of the exposed garlic, should be about 2 - 3 teaspoons over each head or until well coated.

Add kosher salt and fresh ground pepper corns to taste.

Cover with aluminum foil, bake at 400 F for about 30 - 35 minutes or until garlic is a golden brown and the cloves are very tender to the touch. Baking time will vary depending on the size of the bulbs.

Remove the Roasted Garlic from oven and let cool.

Once cool, serve. Use a small knife or fork to remove cloves and squeeze right out of their skins.

Spread onto warm fresh French Bread and sprinkle with some Parmesan Cheese, Asiago Cheese or Romano Cheese this is the absolute best.

Eat it right out of the oven without the bread just be itself is another great suggestion. You can even add these tasty roasted bulbs of flavor to mashed potatoes to make the creamiest of Garlic Mashed Potatoes or serve out of of the skins in a small bowl as a replacement for horseradish or ketchup, goes fantastic with any of your picks for Dinner Recipes.
