1 Devils Food cake mix

1/2 light rum

1 can cherry pie filling

1 1/2 pints whipping cream

Whipping Cream Stabilizer - make as directed for amount of whipping cream used.

Kahlua or Chocolate Liqueur or Liqueur of your choice

1-2 oz semi sweet Belgian Chocolate - shaved

6 maraschino cherries

Day 1

Bake Devils Food mix as directed using two round 9 inch pans. Remove from pans and cool on rack. With serrated knife, cut each round in half making 4 halves. Liberally brush each round with rum. Stack in freezer safe container placing sheets of wax paper in between each layer. Cover and freeze.

Day 2

Drain some of liquid off cherry pie filling. In small re sealable container or bowl, mix together cherry pie filling and liqueur of your choice and refrigerate.

Day 3

Whip cream with stabilizer as directed on package. Add small amount of liqueur of your choice. Take cakes out of Freezer and pie filling out of fridge. On decorative plate, place bottom layer. Spoon pie filling over bottom layer, then layer of whipped cream. Repeat with remaining layers, finishing with whipped cream on top layer. Garnish top with maraschino cherries and shaved chocolate.

Refrigerate for about 2 hours.

Serve and ENJOY! Your guests will absolutely be in La-La-Land!
