Pastry Recipe Using Puff Pastry
2 packages Puff Pastry

Any of the markets or groceries have the dough, all you have to do is follow the directions on the box for unwrapping.

Unwrap the dough according to the directions on a clean work surface. I just use my counter after I have cleaned it thoroughly of course with a good antiseptic wipe. Place dough on floured surface and lightly flour the surface with flour.

Roll out each package of dough until they are about 4 - 5 mm thick. sprinkle 1/4 cup of the parmigiano reggiano, onto each rectangle. Pat the cheese down gently.

On top of each, apply your Cream Cheese Spread mixture over dough, leaving about 1/4 inch around edges.

Lay slices of sweet honey baked ham and spinach over top of cream cheese spread mixture.

Carefully roll your rectangles into logs and pinch to seal.

Place your logs seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush with more melted butter.

Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and cut into serving sized bites of pure delight.

Serve these Cheese Puffs warm and enjoy!

Pastry Recipe Using Crescent Rolls
Open container according to directions and roll out dough, do not separate the Crescent Rolls at this time.

Cut dough into eight rectangles. Where perforations are, seal carefully by brushing a little water or milk over perforations and smooth.

With 1 cup of the Parmesan Cheese, sprinkle onto dough and pat down.

On each rectangle, spread the Cream Cheese mixture over dough, leaving about 1/4 inch around edges.

Lay slices of sweet honey baked ham and spinach over top of cheese mixture.

Carefully roll each rectangle into logs and pinch to seal, brush with a little water or milk on edges.

Cut each log into about. 4 -6 pieces depending on how big you like your tasty bites to be.

Place cut sides down on greased or non stick baking sheet

Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve these cheese puffs warm. A Fantastic Favorite... YUMMY!!!

Makes about 2 dozen and recipe doubles well. Freeze for timesavers for unexpected guests, heat and serve.

For the kids make up a quick lunch using the Crescent Rolls and instead of the Cream Cheese Spread, prepare dough as usual, lay slices of Velveeta Cheese on each rectangle leaving about 1/4 inch around the edges. Instead of Baked Ham, place hotdogs on top edges of dough on each rectangle and carefully roll into logs and pinch to seal. Depending on the size of your hotdogs, I would say you would need about 6 - 8 of those kids favorites!

Cut each log into 4-6 pieces and place on greased baking sheet and bake at 400 F for about 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown.
